Football treats you bad, at times. 

Just like in any job, I guess.
You feel that it doesn’t reply with the same amount of love and dedication you believe you put into.
It’s not reciprocated, in a way.

Then, you miss it.

And, life gets a way to get you involved again.

In some cases, you never leave, besides your disappointment at times.

For me, talking about Football is one of the best things someone can invite me to do. 

Simply talking about training perspectives, methodologies, tactics, formations, attacking systems, defensive principles, you name it.

Adding to that, with the experience in different roles in Football, mainly like coaching in different environments, age groups and consequent challenges just as the roles more connected to business development, scouting and players mentoring, my career guide me to positions of leadership, mainly as Technical Director. 

That gave me a total new perspective of Football Development, helped me to better understand myself, made me realize my intentions and objectives with the Game, and my life.
Having a broader perspective of the Game, outside of the Football pitch (without actually leaving it behind) and understanding the impact of decisions in our Coaches and Players development was remarkable.

And I truly enjoyed it from the early beginning!

Yes, I truly love coaching and training discussions.

Yes, I absolutely adore to analyze the business (either Academy or Club) and look for business growth, expansion and development.

Yes, all around Football excites me.

But, the discussion became: where can my impact be greater?

I joined experience and knowledge (which is still limited and yet to grow significantly) and applied those perspectives to my Coaches, Players, agents, investors, parents, or whoever. 

Better than that, I’ve merged all my passions in these kind of roles where I can be involved, impact and watch other people around me flourish, grow and develop.

It’s the beginning of a new journey!
